How to heal

I wish I never knew
What hurt could do

To ravage your brain
And create such inner pain

When it tears and breaks your heart
Where do the repairs start

How do you forget someone's death
How do you justify their last breath

How do you end the day
That shattered life in every way

How do you fix someone that died
From an act of suicide

You do not forget or repair
You do not mend every step and stair

You move on
And be strong

Strong enough to happily live
Strong enough to lovingly give

Do not bury the hurt inside
Use something to confide

Thank you for looking at my work!!! I understand about the concept of non-rhyming work; I just prefer for it to rhyme. <3
